Summer Python Coding
Monday -> Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm, KMAC 103
Welcome to Summer Coding! This class is a unique and fun introduction
to the Python programming language. Code is at the heart of almost everything we
do and love. We can write code to make games, create music and art, bring robots
to life, and solve scientific problems. Once you learn how things work, the
possibilities are endless.
In this class, we will go through the basics of the Python language and code
many projects/activities along the way. You will also learn how to navigate
Linux, use Jupyter Lab as a virtual notebook, and put your code on GitHub to
share. No coding experience necessary. Overall projects will be a group based
activity but individuals will have the opportunity to make changes to their
own versions to show their own creativity.
All exercises will be uploaded to the github page.
